After attending the annual OFNS food education fair, P.S. 146 connected with Mi Oh My Farms. The organization brings indoor hydroponic gardens to NYC schools, and their work was the perfect solution to P.S. 146’s scaffolding challenge. In their partnership’s first year, the school started with one garden in Capobianco’s classroom that was nurtured by an after-school club. The garden was wildly popular, and more students began asking how they could participate.
