Mi Oh My Farms (MOM) is hiring an Urban Agriculture Educator/Teaching Farmer to bring superfoods science to NYC classrooms.

Imagine walking into a school in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Harlem, or Staten Island and watching a 10-year-old's eyes light up the moment their microgreens break the soil. That's your Monday morning.

At MOM, we believe every young person deserves to know where their food comes from - and the power to grow it themselves. Our Urban Agriculture Educators bring that vision to life every day, delivering hands-on STEAM lessons in hydroponics, aquaponics, mushroom cultivation, and urban farming to K-12 students and adult learners across all five boroughs.

This role fits you if:

  • You carry genuine passion for food justice and urban agriculture

  • You thrive in dynamic, hands-on environments

  • You speak English and Spanish or Mandarin (strongly preferred)

  • You are currently a NYC area resident

What MOM offers:

  • $22-$30/hr. as a W2 employee after a paid training period at $20/hr.

  • Travel time between sites counts as paid hours

Farm Support Specialist

Mi Oh My Hydroponic Farms is hiring a Farm Support Specialist in the Bronx.

Every microgreens tray that reaches a NYC classroom starts here - on our Bronx farm, in your hands. As MOM's Farm Support Specialist, you keep our urban farm running so that hundreds of students across the city experience the magic of growing their own food.

This hands-on role puts you at the heart of our operation. You'll cultivate mushrooms, grow microgreens, maintain our regenerative aquaponics system, and pack the materials that fuel MOM's school programs. Every task you complete ripples directly into the classroom.

This role fits you if:

  • You love working with your hands and taking pride in doing things right

  • You bring strong attention to detail and a collaborative spirit

  • You call the Bronx home (or want to be a bigger part of it)

  • You are currently a NYC area resident
